description
The Korrigan comes from Breton folklore, a sort of gnome or wacky goblin. The word korrigan means "little dwarf", from the Breton korr = dwarf, followed by the diminutive ig and the suffix an, with the Breton plural ed = Korriganed. They are also known as Poulpikets, Kornandons or Ozégans. Benevolent or malevolent depending on the case, they can be extremely generous, but are also capable of horrible vengeance. In France, they are best illustrated in stories told in Brittany.
